Eagles Nest

Paragliding Holiday Morocco

A perfect place for a winter paragliding holiday

We checked the Eagle’s Nest had rooms available then booked the flights with Jet2 from Birmingham and the trip was a go.

Agadir Airport

We sorted two hire cars from LocationAuto via Discovercars.com. We were met outside arrivals and driven the sort distance to pick up our vehicles. The paperwork didn’t take long and the handover on return was even quicker with the full deposit returned the next day.

The Eagle’s Nest is cool place to stay and a single room with half board is only 60 euros a night and the evening meal is three courses.

Nigels Place

The main launch at Eagle’s Nest is fairly large and concrete but we chose to launch from Nigel’s Place (Which is now actually part of Eagle’s Nest) as it was quieter and great to practice top landings.

We took a day trip out to the launch at Legzira but the wind was light so we had a coffee and chilled on the beach instead.

We also took a day trip out to the launch at Aglou Beach and the new launch at Aglou Montagne.

Most days we popped down to Ocean Dunes House for a coffee. We even got our kit out the bags one day and did some dune flying and ground handling.

All in all, a great relatively inexpensive trip in the sun to escape the gloomy British winter weather and get some paragliding in.
